What is this site?
Bramblefair Games reviews online and browser games for players and families in the UK. We only list games we have played online ourselves, with friends and with strangers, and we write down what you will find inside: who is in the lobby, how long a match lasts, who can talk to you and what is for sale.
Why the lobby list?
An online game is a room full of other people, so we describe it like one. The lobby list on our home page lets you compare games by the things that matter before you join: player numbers, match length, chat and the shop.
Who reviews the games?
A small team of long-time online players, from chess and board games to team shooters and big shared worlds, together with parents who test the family controls on every platform we mention.
How is the site paid for?
It carries no adverts, affiliate links, sponsored reviews or products. We host no games, run no accounts and take no payments, so nobody has a reason to ask us for a better rating.
What about conflicts of interest?
If a reviewer has a personal or professional link to a game, someone else reviews it and the report says so. We do not accept gifts or trips in exchange for coverage.
Where do the pictures come from?
Every cover is an original illustration made for this site in the visual style of its game. None of it is official artwork, a screenshot or a real person.
Who publishes the site
Bramblefair Games is run by Bramblefair Media Ltd, 27 Old Gloucester Street, London, WC1N 3AX, United Kingdom.
Why UK English?
British spelling, UK age labels and UK support services. No pop-ups, no autoplaying video and no tracking.
